A Denture is a set of removable artificial teeth that rests directly on the gums, replacing all the teeth on a jaw. Partial Dentures are best for people with several teeth missing and whose adjoining teeth aren't in the right position to hold a bridge. Artificial teeth are set onto a framework that fits directly on the gums.
Full dentures consist of an acrylic framework (resembling your natural gums) into which artificial teeth are set.
Partial dentures are artificial teeth, usually attached to a metal framework. Clasps fit onto the adjoining natural teeth, and the framework fits directly on the gums. There are different types of removable partials to choose from with each choice having different benefits.
